Josh Ruhen AKA Mercy first started his relationship with music at the age of 11 when he was gifted his first guitar. Since then he has tried his hand at everything from thrash metal to jazz before settling on a soulful electronic sound, influenced heavily by 00’s R’n’B and jazz chord progressions. He loves to sample the world that surrounds him often using common sounds such as percussion and subtle noise layers. Having just released his debut album he now looks to move forward and progress his sound whilst still staying true to his roots.
