Tropics is an electronic indie pop project from British singer/songwriter Chris Ward. Beginning with his 2010 debut EP ‘Soft Vision’, Ward introduced his dreamy, warm, melancholic sound that blends chill wave and electronic elements with organic piano and guitar-led pop songwriting. In 2011 Ward worked with Planet Mu Records to deliver his second EP ‘Mouves’ followed by his debut album ‘Parodia Flare’. The critically acclaimed album led onto remixing collaborations with Bear in Heave and Little Dragon. Through his signing to American label, Innovative Leisure, Ward produced his latest album ‘Rapture’ much to the delight of his fans around the world.
